Field Good Finds Volume 1

Field Good Finds Volume 1
A bi-weekly roundup of the things making life feel a little lighter, brighter, and more grounded.

🌟 1. This Week’s Favorite Thing
Something I love this week β€” a fresh planner!

I use the Full Focus Wellness Planner, and I love the new year. They are set up quarterly and have lots of planning and note space. The wellness edition includes space for nutrition, movement, water, and gratitude, along with a daily schedule, task list, and top three priorities for the day.

πŸ’¬ 2. A Moment From the Field
Something that made me think this week…

The beginning of the year means financially closing out the prior year and preparing information for crop loan renewal. While the 2026 U of A crop budgets indicate there is not a crop that will be profitable this season in Arkansas, we are still gearing up for another year with lots of work ahead.

I have been asking myself, why? And the best answer I have came from another farmer β€” wiser and more experienced β€” β€œIt is what we do.” So without another thought, I plan to continue our family mindset that persistence and determination are omnipotent.

πŸ™ 3. Faith Find
β€œCommit your work to the LORD, and then your plans will succeed.” ~ Proverbs 16:3

🌱 4. Agriculture Snapshot
A tiny ag insight this week is the per-acre USDA Farmer Bridge Assistance (FBA) payment rates for major Arkansas crops:

  • Rice = $132.89

  • Soybeans = $30.88

  • Cotton = $117.35

  • Corn = $44.36

  • Wheat = $39.35

πŸ’› 5. Something to Try
One of my favorite skincare finds is the brand The Ordinary!

I use several of their facial skincare products and absolutely love them. The best part is they are very affordable and last a long time. Their website has quizzes to help narrow down your skincare issues and point you to the correct products. I recently received a free body lotion with my order, and I am really loving it! Try them out.

🀎 Closing Thought
I plan to publish Field Good Finds twice a month. I hope you find something here to make your week a little better. See ya in the field!
